Old and traditional town pub which is said to be haunted and is believed to date back to at least 1644, as the huge fireplace bears this date. There is a room at the rear for skittles and darts which also serves as a function room. There is a garden at the rear together with some play equipment for children. You may find real ale or you may not although there are three handpumps.
