Cerdic
47 Fore Street, Chard TA20 1PT
A Wetherspoons pub that used to be a cinema of the same name before it closed in the 60's. The guest beers are normally sourced locally and you may find a bigger selection at weekends than during the week due to turnover. In a town that provides such a meagre choice of real ales it is normally the first stop for CAMRA members, particularly as the ales are very well kept. In addition there are usually six real ciders. The pub is situated on one floor but there are steps down to a conservatory which acts as the family area. A pleasant rear garden has been added and this closes at 21:30 each evening. A public car park is available at the rear or across the road.
