Very popular pub in the heart of Cardiff's top beer and cider area. The two rooms are served by a central bar featuring real ales, "craft keg" beers and traditional ciders mainly pumped up from the cellar using air pressure. Though a Brains house now run by Marstons, it offers a range of guest beers from almost anywhere in the U.K. incl. the Marston's range. Very busy when events take place at the at the adjacent Millennium Stadium and Arms Park.

This spacious community pub is situated close to the north end of Roath Park Lake. The bar has a big screen for sports enthusiasts and caters for the usual pub activities including darts and quizzes. There is a larger, quieter lounge. There is also a large function room which can cater for parties. The pub holds occasional mini beer festivals and hosts charity events.

The guest beer is usually from the Brains Craft Brewery range.

A modern hotel alongside the M4 Junction 32 and therefore catering largely for motorists but also easily accessible by bus. The main bar, called the "Victory Pub and Kitchen", the one serving real ale, is on the left as you enter. It is a stylish lounge bar catering for hotel guests, people attending functions at the hotel plus people who simply drop in for a drink.

Street-corner local just off Newport Road. Recently refurbished, it has a single, comfortable and attractive bar with a variety of different styles of furniture at the front. The rear consists of a comfortable lounge, recently converted from akittle alley. There is a surprisingly large and well-landscaped garden.

An attractive red-brick post-war pub in the heart of a residential area not far from City Road. Slightly "alternative" in atmosphere, its main character is Croftie. An African Grey parrot that occupies a large cage at the end of the bar. The house beer, Crofties Ale, named after him, is actually Hancock's HB. There are two large bars and a garden with the rear bar leading to a skittles alley.

One of the last remaining "dock" pubs in the Bay. One of Brains' wide range of pubs, described by them as a "community pub". The venue no longer serves food and has an "old man" style character. "Drugs free" posters prominently displayed.
