Modern pub in the middle of a pleasant housing estate. It has been in the same family for over 50 years (since 1966). Two bars, a large well furnished lounge to one side and a traditional roomy public bar to the other. There is a pool table and darts area to the side of the bar, with many cups and silverware on display, all won by the darts team and football team. One real ale, they tried two but couldn't sell enough, regularly changes with Caledonian and other guests. Bus stops nearby in Broadway.
