Family-run backyard brewery tap with up to eight real ales plus cider. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. There are two comfortable rooms with log fires. A rare example of a lively wet-led pub with bar snacks available (cobs, pork pies, crisps and nuts). Regular music night including vinyl, indie classic rock and reggae. There are also monthly drawing classes. This is a superb back street boozer within an easy walk of the town centre.
