Once the old vinegar works manager's Georgian residence, now a comfortable stylish bar. As well as five beer handpulls there are two for ciders - one usually Snails Bank. The interior has soft furnishing and subtle lighting, warmed by an open fire. Downstairs is a cosy snug with bench sofas. The upstairs bar opens at weekends and during the week for live music - Open Mike on Tuesdays. There is a paved partially covered beer garden. Burger deal on Wednesday.
