A community pub, dating from the 17th century, having a central corridor with two small rooms on one side and the main bar on the other. At the rear is a second bar used at busy times, and a room available for functions. There is also a popular skittle alley. As well as the two regulars, there can be up to three guest beers which can be from local independents or sometimes from more distant breweries. Live music often played at weekends.
