Built on land know locally as the "Pinnacle", the Dewsbury & District Golf Club opened in 1891. The course has undergone many alterations over the years and is a true test of Golf on a Parkland course. The club house was built about 2002, and the Balcony Bar & Restaurant has been recently refurbished. The club boasts two bars. Downstairs is the "19th", upstairs the Balcony Bar.
