A family run pub in a cosy 17th century grade II listed building offering many surprises inside. Serving 8 real ales with many local guests and two draught ciders. An atmosphere of exposed beams and tiled floors with local artists work adorning the walls. Opening hours and food serving times in the winter can vary so please call ahead. Weekly quiz Wednesdays, free book exchange. Extensive outside covered area with stage for regular music events and large rear sun-trap beer garden popular in summer.
