This pub has undergone a modern refurbishment but has retained character with flagstone floors and beams. Food is provided from a modern kitchen and there is a skittle alley/function room. Normally serves 3/4 ales from regional and national breweries. Happy Hour 5pm to 7pm Tuesday to Sunday with £1 off a pint. Outside there is lots of seating, plenty of car parking and a lawn area. There are four en-suite quality B and B rooms if you want to stay.
