Traditional old pub from 1768, beers are local with occasional guest ales and promotional events for beers from further afield. Known for excellent carvery, but serves bar meals too. Refurbished in November 2014 with a new bar and the addition of bottled craft beers. Nice low-ceilinged bar area and two separate eating areas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Large garden and car park to the side.
