Re-opened in May 2018, with four ales on offer.
U-shaped locals bar just outside the river loop near the English Bridge. The Seven Stars refers to the constellation of the Plough, a common theme for rural pubs. The pub has changed hands several times in the 230+ years it has been open, getting swallowed up by larger and larger breweries, though it is now back in private hands. Plenty of old Shrewsbury photos on the walls, though they only tend to focus on times of flooding. Close to the station as the crow flies, but in reality it is a long walk through town to reach the entrance.
Following the floods in 2020 the pub is currently open Friday to Sunday and is not stocking real ale.
