New ownership by St Annes brewery of Lea Cross in June 2018. During 2020/21, a major renovation took place prior to re-opening and re-naming in May 2021. The two level former interior has gone with the pub now consisiting of one large room with a modern contemporary feel. The bar has moved from the rear of the pub to the right hand side. The toilets are on the same level which has greatly improved access for disabled patrons. Conveniently placed for the railway station, which is literally across the road.
