Excellent two-bar local with a strong community and family focus re-opened and extended in 2017 after a refurbishment following a fire. This was the first pub acquired by McMullen's, purchased in 1836 for £435. The pub was the first in the country to purchase and house a defibrillator for the use of the residents of Bengeo should it be urgently required.
