White Horse

A charming old timber-framed building with two downstairs bars and additional rooms upstairs, one featuring bar billiards, others where children are welcome. There is a small patio to the rear and benches at the front. A "must see" for visitors to Hertford, the pub features in CAMRA's Regional Directory of Pub Interiors of Special Historic Interest. Guest beers are from the Fullers stable. There are no music or gaming machine distractions to dislodge the fun of engaging conversation. Dog friendly. There is excellent homemade Thai cuisine and English pies.
