Grade II Listed town centre pub with a history dating from the 17th century. After a recent refurbishments (2013 and 2018) the pub now has an minimalist feel with walls exposed, tiled areas, interesting lighting and a range of furniture. Big DJ nights on Friday and Saturdays which spread outside on to the shingled garden. Dogs allowed in the garden up until 7pm. Cask ale availability is increasingly irregular.
