Now a free house and a self-styled beer emporium, this is a compact backstreet local serving excellent beer in two drinking areas either side of a central bar. The real ales are complemented by an extensive range of continental and craft beers on draught and in bottles, all displayed on a very descriptive chalk board. Sunday lunches now served, 12 to 4pm. Voted Chesterfield CAMRA Pub of the Year and Town Pub of the year 2020.
