Wellington Social Club (Welly) is a thriving local club founded in the 1950's. The club can boast a large number of members from the local and Basingstoke area of all age ranges. The club is extremely friendly, and runs regular events for its members, which are always very well supported.

The Welly composes of a large estate which includes a large public bar area with fruit machines, pool, darts and BT sports. A skittles alley. A large entertainments room with stage, dance floor and seating for up 200 people. A Quiet over 18s bar. A large garden with barbecue. A large car park and an attached bungalow for live-in landlord

General activities include Live entertainment on a regular basis, Regular in-house disco's, Special 50's dance nights, Fortnightly quizzes, Pool league nights, Skittle nights,  Meat raffles, Darts and Pool etc...

The Welly also hold regular events throughout the year which are organised by the committee and club members.
