A smart spacious bar on the edge of the town's Festival Place restaurant quarter. Attracting a varied clientele, in the evenings the Angel plays host to a mainly younger crowd when the ambient 'chatter' combined with background music can become very noticeable. Lunchtimes are less noisy attracting customers from all age groups. Muted TVs show mainly news broadcasts but major sports fixtures can have sound.
