Description: The Waterfront, newly built in Spring 2013, is a Greene King Hungry Horse pub on the ground floor of a large modern block on the promenade which also houses a casino. It’s a L-shaped bar with plenty of separate rooms, some of which have large floor to ceiling windows. Small booths are provided in other areas and there are many TV’s mostly showing children’s programmes. It is primarily a dining pub for families but drinkers are welcome too. Outside at the back there is seating overlooking the Marine Lake and Marine Way Bridge. It’s handy for the Floral Hall, the end of the pier and the Marine Lake railway.
