Up Steps

Formerly a house named Bankfield House, a new sign outside the pub depicts the old name. A traditional street corner pub, the Up Steps has recently been revitalised after two long periods of closure, with the new licensees showing a commitment to real ale. The pub has been tastefully refurbished and retains its original features, including the old Matthew Brown Lion Ales windows.
