The Barrel House is a brand new micro pub opened in May 2014. A former newsagents which still sells the daily paper. It owes its existence to the new Sainsbury's Supermarket which gave the owner the idea to change his business. It is now an Aladdin's cave of wonderful bottled beers, wines, loose leaf teas and speciality coffees.
