Former British Legion Club converted in 2011 to become a Castle Rock pub and café. It has a large main bar with a raised area and a family area (children welcome until 9pm) with a café bar, all with a homely, welcoming feel. A large upstairs function room features a folk club and other local events, and the beer garden overlooks a former bowling green and tennis courts. 12 handpumps dispense the Castle Rock beers plus guests, often from new breweries. There are usually 2 real ciders and excellent food is served. Bar service starts at 10am. The car park now has an EV charging point.
