Large 1860’s pub located opposite Marine Park, very close to the sea front. This free house serves changing real ales from at least 6 handpulls and at least four boxed real ciders. Golden Plover and White Rat alternate as house beers. There are akso up to five keg fonts available. To the left of the bar are two raised areas allowing customers to sit in social groups on comfortable seating. To the right of the bar is the games area with pool and darts. A good selection of non intrusive background music is played. Pub food served daily with traditional Sunday lunch. 5 minutes walk to the beach.
