An Everard's house since 1901 and refurbished by them in traditional style in 2013. There are two rooms across the frontage alongside the servery; rear-left is an attractive snug (a modern addition). At the back is a small covered alley with a few seats; then a very attractive new patio. Up to three guest ales are available, frequently including a dark beer. Pub classic snacks such as pork pies, Scotch eggs, samosas and freshly filled cobs are usually available. A short walk from Leicester's rugby and football grounds, and therefore very busy on match days.
