The area nearest to the car park has no servery, is basically furnished with tiled floors, and appears to be ideally suited as a child friendly family room. The other part of the lounge is carpeted; more plushly furnished and has a conservatory annex.

Run by the Hoskins family, this city centre pub with a 1930s interior, including an original oak staircase, has two rooms with tiled and parquet floors and a central bar. The interior features photos of the former Queens Hotel which was across the road, this pub in the 1930s, and the former Hoskins Brewery. A function room is available to hire. Handy for the nearby Curve Theatre. Plans are under way to brew on the premises in the near future.

This was the former 'Almanack' pub and restaurant, which closed due to the liquidation of the owning company. In 2013, it reopened as 'Turtle Bay', advertising itself as "Caribbean Eating and Drinking" and "Rum Bar". Pavement seating around the outside.

Spread over two floors with quirky internationally-sourced antiques this converted wine merchant's shop is located within an area favoured by academics and urban professionals. It was converted into a pub in about 2002. It provides reliable beer quality, fine wines and excellent cheeseboards. The large front windows open up to create a continental ambiance on warmer days. Often very busy at weekends but always civilised.

Everards sold the pub to Mitchells & Butlers in 2011 and it is now one of their 'Sizzling Pubs' chain. The large modern interior is L-shaped, with the main entrance at the corner. Value meals are available, but drinkers are also welcome. A patio area outside the main entrance is furnished with picnic tables, and there is another patio at the rear.

This large club, which started trading in 1953, is situated on Leicester’s Braunstone Estate, and is open to members, members guests and CIU affiliated members. To the right of the front foyer is a large bar/lounge bar and to the left is an even larger concert room. The club also has a games room upstairs, on the first floor.

Formerly an Everard's tied house, but now a free house. The BLT is a small wedge-shaped building with rendered white painted external walls and genuine leaded lights. The interior consists mainly of one room plus a small adjoining annex with a serving hatch type bar. To find this pub look for Lower Willow Street since, although Junction Road does still exist, it no longer extends as far as the pub. Two varying beers from Blue Monkey are sold.
