Until about 1999, this was the TOWN ARMS, a traditional three-roomed town pub owned by Bass. The interior was then much enlarged and knocked-together, and it had a spell as an African style bar. In April 2014, Duffy's relocated here from a small bar along the street. This is now an Irish style pub, with music sessions and sport to match.
