A three-storey former hotel situated within Leicester’s Church Gate conservation area, still boldly displaying the M&B Mitchells & Butlers logo on the front elevation wall. The small public bar is reminiscent of the front room of a terraced house. Adjoining the bar is a pool table room. There is also a separate lounge bar. The curtilage of the partially covered back yard is circumscribed by the walls of the neighbouring historic Great Meeting School which is an early 18th century Grade II listed building built in the gothic revival style.
