Reopened in August 2019 as one of Charles Wells' "Pizza, Pots and Pints" chain. The narrow front is deceptive as the pub goes back a fair distance to a surprisingly large and very attractive garden. The pub has a laid-back character with a mix of old furniture including some settees. Recorded music is played, and there is artwork on the walls, much of it for sale.
