The Priory Hotel does not serve real ale (yet) but is included so as to include all the licensed premises in the Highlands & Western Isles Branch Area. The Priory Hotel has a long history, taking its name from the home of the 13th Century Cistercian monks who chose Beauly as an ideally tranquil location for their secluded meditation and worship. In the same family since 1972, the hotel is located at the heart of the small Highland town of Beauly, next to the ruins of the priory and overlooking the bustling town square with its array of local shops and eateries. Food and drink are served in the lounge or restaurant, as well as the in-house public bar – The Comm – where you can enjoy a roaring fire. The food is popular with both residents and locals alike, and includes All-Day, Lunch, Supper, and A la Carte Dinner Menus, as well as a Sunday lunchtime Carvery.
