Laurieston Bar

Opening hours

Characterful, but unpretentious corner pub, owned by brothers whose family have been in the pub trade for generations. It is a rare survivor of authentic 1960s décor. A traditional horseshoe bar is surrounded by small corner formica-topped tables and walls covered with vintage photographs, snapshots, mirrors, memorabilia and the occasional painting. A smaller bar serves the lounge. Fyne Ales and Jaw beers vary on three handpumps. Opposite bridge Street subway station and on many bus routes. Pies are served from a traditional counter-top display unit and toasties and biscuits are often provided free of charge to both regulars and newcomers alike. Cash is the only means of payment accepted.
