This pub near the Castle with a circular exterior has had a refurbishment which has seen the cask ale offering increase. Five handpumps now dispense beers from mainly Welsh micros such as Boss and Brecon. A large bar is located on the left hand side with plenty of seating in other areas. There is an outdoor seating area at the front of the pub and there is a function room upstairs Live bands play on Friday and Saturday and several TVs show the latest sporting action It gets particularly busy here in here when Wales are playing.
