Fine Georgian building that was once the United Comrades club for ex servicemen inside showing the old club and historical Saffron Walden photographs. This pub hosts regular Wetherspoon beer and ciider festivals. It was once the winner of a regional Wetherspoon food award, hosts a Monday quiz night and always stocks draught ciders. Families are welcome and there is a large garden and a covered smoking area.
