Great Northern

This pub is located on the main road and named after the old railway company which used the now abandoned nearby Thackley Line. The pub underwent extensive refurbishment and re-opened under new management in September 2019. The building was originally multi-roomed but is now opened up with a large lounge and small pool area. It has a modern, urban, rustic appearance with exposed stone and brick walls and wooden furnishings. There are six real ale taps which are predominantly used for the house "Great Northern" brand by Horsforth Brewery. There are also ten keg taps offering an additional range of craft beers. Sports TV is frequently shown on the numerous screens throughout the pub. Real ales are offered at a reduced price on Wednesdays.
