A true local community pub providing a warm friendly welcome. Located in a quiet residential street off the beaten track in a semi-country setting near the football and cricket ground. Once a Bentley's Yorkshire Brewery (BYB) house, this freehouse has a multi-roomed layout with a free to hire function room and a beer garden/smoking area at the back. There are six handpulls serving a varying range of real ales sourced from the surrounding region but sometimes from further away. The house ale, Commercial Blonde, is supplied by Bingley Brewery. Old photos of Thackley adorn the walls. A popular quiz night is held on Wednesdays and occasional live music is featured. Children are welcome until 9pm. For those of limited mobility, there is a level access to the rear of the pub.
