A former pet shop, the pub has a single narrow bar with a larger seating area at the back and a secluded snug to one side. Up to 12 cask ales including a mild and a stout or porter plus a cider are available at any one time, including LocAles from owner Castle Rock's portfolio. Food includes curry night Monday, pie night Tuesday, Steak & Blues night Wed, burger night Thursday and Sunday roast.

Test Match Hotel

This is a large imposing, grade II* listed, art deco pub has a revolving door entrance. Built in the 1930's it has high vaulted ceilings and the walls are lined with timber panelling. There is an upstairs cocktail bar that is accessed up a sweeping stairway. There are two striking wall murals, which are on a cricketing theme. The separate public bar houses the pool table and darts. Outside, there is a courtyard drinking area at the back of the pub.

Willow Tree

Fully refurbished in November 2016, this community estate pub has a large open plan layout with a mixture of wooden and carpeted floors. Comfortable seating with tables, chairs and sofas. The décor is plain, but contemporary. The layout has been designed to form three or four distinct areas. There is a dining area, a comfortable drinking area, and a section for pool and sports TV. A small lounge area is tucked away at the back. Competitively-priced food and drink is a feature of this pub. The car park has an EV charging point.

Large iconic building on the main Loughborough Road. Whilst generally open plan it has been split into several distinct areas on three levels, with a 'separate bar'. Carpeted in eating areas, with a more private area available for parties. Now branded as a 'Hungry Horse' following a extensive refurbishment in December 2017. Pub aimed at value family dining.
