On a fine summer day, the click of bat on ball welcomes you to a green oasis in the outskirts of town. The club room has had a major renovation and now provides luxurious comfort with a panoramic view of the field. The club contains local cricket memorabilia and two large sporting screens. There is occasional entertainment and the venue is popular for function hire. Non-members entry is by CAMRA Membership card. Sunday Hours reduced in Winter Sunday 12-6.

Butts Tavern

A warm welcome is assured from the staff, with an outside patio area for smokers. Local domino and crib teams are based here with entertainment often held on Friday or Saturday nights. There is normally one guest beer from the Marston's range, and a good range of cobs.

Having been a pub since at least 1801, formerly in the hands of historic brewers Allsops and then Ansells. It became The Flock and Firkin in the 90's before restoration in 2007.

An urban gem located in Park Hall estate, which is hard to find but definitely worth the effort. A two roomed community pub boasting comprehensive sports viewing. The front lounge has a separate dining area and specialises in Mix Grills, Indian Cuisine and traditional English Dishes, a selection of children's meals are available. All meats are supplied from local butchers and non-halal. (Large parties should book). A take away service for food is available and offers a 15% discount. The pub is decorated with sports memorabilia. There is a heated smoking area next to the large car park, also front and rear beer gardens adjacent to large car park.
