Syston Social is home to many local societies and sports clubs including darts, skittles, chess and crib. There is an attractive lounge bar on the ground floor, split into several distinct areas, and the large first floor function room is available for hire and events. The range of beers includes regulars from Marstons and there are several rotating guest beers, usually from local breweries. A regular winner of Leicester CAMRA's club of the year poll. CAMRA members can gain entry by showing a valid membership card, as can anybody in possession of a copy of the Good Beer Guide.

An old pub at the busy central crossroads. Large room with plenty of nooks and crannies. Large screen for sports.

Midland Railway

Roadside hostelry on road into Syston from Leicester. As the name suggests handy for the railway station. Refurbished in 2014 with a wider range of real ales and improved food service. TVs showing sport are spread around the pub.

Queen Victoria

76 High Street, Syston LE7 1GQ

The building is 200 years old and was a former coach house. Everards have traded here since 1922. The bar across the front consists of three rooms knocked together and a smaller room at the rear. At the back is a courtyard drinking area, a large garden (including petangue court) and a carvery restaurant. There is regular entertainment. Beer and cider festivals are held during the year. Guest beers are sourced through Everards, and can include regional and microbrewery beers.

Mansah Lounge

The former Royal British Legion Club became the Mansah Lounge in about 2011. Food and sports TVs, but unfortunately no real ale.

Grosvenor Snooker Club & Bar

Accessed via the car park on St Peters Court, this snooker club now caters for anyone in the bar. While snooker tables occupy a large part at the back of the bar there is plenty of varied seating and TVs showing sports TV. A large function room is available at the side and a room with 10 darts boards.
