It was the King Harold until being renamed in 2016 by the operator of the Jackdaw and Star, Star at Bethnal Green, Star by Hackney Downs, Star of Kings. The exterior has oriel windows, fancy entrance with tessellated floor. The interior features plaster-moulded ceiling trims and cornice, skylight, columns and a large fireplace. This is very much a pub, which happens to have rooms upstairs but anyone can walk in and drink.
