A delightful and very popular stone built country pub on the edge of the beautiful village of Staverton, where you will always receive a friendly welcome. The long wooden beamed bar serves four areas and an open hearth fire between the rooms provides some seclusion. The enthusiastic landlord Rob, offers a good choice of ales and there is always one locally brewed beer on sale. The pub serves excellent restaurant quality food as well as an extensive range of bar snacks at lunchtimes and evenings. The pub's website contains downloadable menus.

Nice old roadside pub set at an angle to the main road through the village. It has a central bar flanked by two large dining areas and has a good reputation for food. Under new management and only one beer on. No garden, but there is an outside seating area under a vine covered patio at the south side of pub which overlooks a racing stables and ménage.
