More of a lounge bar found on the left hand side which is more appropriate if you wish to dine. There is a real flame gas fire in both rooms. A steak night occurs on a friday and there is a sunday roast. There is normally a ale from the Fine Tuned brewery just down the road. There is no car park but there is some street parking outside the pub.

The White Hart has been trading as a inn in Somerton's delightful market square since the 16th Century. You cannot miss it as there is a large model of a White Hart on the entrance porch. It is much larger inside than you might first envisage and there are plenty of tables for dining or coffee and cakes. A courtyard provides al fresco eating and drinking. Numerous awards and newspaper reviews can be found on the website. Opens at 9:00am but alcohol only served from 11:00am.

It is cosy, friendly and serves between four and six ales on gravity, depending on time of year and time of week with all changing regularly. Quality cold bar snacks sourced locally and include a range of scotch eggs and gala pies. Children and dogs welcome. This micro-pub is well worth a visit.
