A traditional homely and very welcoming pub converted from 17th century cottages about 200 years ago. The public bar has a solid fuel wood burner and original wooden beams, heavily decorated with pump clips. There are 2 small TV's for sporting events, though these often have the sound turned down to allow conversation or may be tuned to Music TV with a low volume. The quieter lounge has been tastefully refurbished, has its own bar and a warming coal effect gas fire. A rear room caters for functions and beer festivals and has a pool table, darts board and large screen TV for sports events, and is served via a hatch from the main bar. Children are welcome in the rear room until 21:00. Various events are held, Monday nights host an in pub Cribbage competition, a Charity Vinyl night is held on a Wednesday once per month (Dig out your own LP's or Singles and book a slot), Acoustic folk music events are regular. Traditional bar snacks, Cobs, pork pies available. There is a beer garden at the rear of the pub with several tables on slabbed and grassed areas.

19th Century popular street corner local with two rooms. Staff and customers are friendly and welcoming. There is a beer garden at the side of the pub and the guest beer is normally Olde Swan Bumblehole, but occasionally changes. Bar snacks are available. Pork and Stuffing Sandwiches are very popular on Friday nights.
