Bulls Head
23 Main Street, Ratby LE6 0LN
Traditional village pub. Major refurbishment of the interior in 2012. The single room is dominated by the food trade, but drinkers can find space. On the right corner is a nice little separate bar-snug. The rooms on the left have been modernised and opened-out; the central part has new rooflights; the rear part at a higher level is aimed at diners. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard with old outbuildings, then a steep terraced patio at the back, with views over the village from the top. Skittle alley.
Railway
191 Station Road, Ratby LE6 0JQ
A delightful small traditional Victorian pub. Relatively unaltered structurally, but a refurbishment in summer 2003 combined the front two rooms. The front room has a central entrance, two bay windows and a panelled fireplace; behind the servery is the 'Pullman Lounge'. Sun-trap patio at the front.
Plough
Burroughs Road, Ratby LE6 0XZ
Traditional locals pub hidden away off the main road through the village. Guest beer is from the Marston's group.
