This single-room modern waterside bar, opened in May 2018, serves up to 6 cask ales and 9 craft keg beers in a variety of styles, some from breweries in the Bristol and surrounding area, but also from further afield. Still ciders are also available. It is simply furnished with large front windows overlooking the many boats moored in the marina. There is also a great selection of well chosen beers in bottles and cans including some from around the world, especially Belgium. Food is available all day limited to cheese platters plus scotch eggs, pork pies and sausage rolls. The bar owner, Andy, is passionate about beer and regularly makes trips to Belgium to top up his collection of bottled beers available for sale to drink in the bar (often with matching glassware) or as takeaways for a generous discount. The friendly team at The Siren's Calling create a welcoming atmosphere which sets this bar apart. Regular beer festivals are held and this is the home of the annual "Beer Off Challenge" when local micro brewers are drawn against each other with the beers of their choice.
