This cosy, traditional little gem is home to the new Borough Brewery and well worth the walk from Neath town centre. Beers from the Borough Brewery and guest ales, are sold from six hand pumps on the horseshoe-shaped bar, to the delight of the locals. Three Borough Brewery ales are always served, on a changing basis, out of the range of beers that are brewed on the premises. Winner of local CAMRA Pub of the Year three times, this is probably the best back-street pub in Wales.
