The pub closed as the Red Lion 18/05/2019. It reopened 01/07/2019 as the Lazy Lion. The description below, and most other details, were for the Red Lion. Built as a Georgian coaching inn, the pub was later extended into the former stables and hayloft; the three buildings form a handsome group whose front entrance has a porch with Doric pillars. The large bar is on several levels, and has a central open fireplace; part of the area is reserved for pool and darts players. The three en-suite rooms face the large, lawned garden to the rear of the pub. Food is home-cooked; live music is monthly (food stops at 8pm on band nights); Milford beach is 700 yards away.
Smugglers Inn

Originally the Crown Inn, built in 1803, this former coaching inn has rendered walls, sash windows and a tiled roof. The door has a reeded frame and flat hood supported on scrolled brackets. Timbers from old barns were used to construct the beamed ceilings of its spacious and handsome interior, which has a separate bar and restaurant. Food features locally-sourced ingredients; 90% of the meat comes from Hampshire. There is occasional live music linked to special events such as Milford Food Week in April. The beach is but 600 yards away.

The Beach House is a Grade II listed Victorian mansion. The interior includes restored oak panels, stained glass windows and vintage furniture. The terrace has terrific views out over the western Solent to the Isle of Wight and The Needles. Visitors are also welcomed for a pint of real ale, afternoon tea, or meals. No late buses. May close early when quiet or stay open later if busy.

This micropub, opened on 26th July 2017, used to be a launderette, hence the name. The bar, which has four hand-pumps, comprises of one room with many tables and chairs. While the pub does not do food itself, food can be ordered at bar and brought from neighbouring cafes close by.
