Pub taken over by celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. Sister pub to the Hand & Flowers (also in Marlow). For most visitors beer is secondary to food. However, it's unclear whether this is run as pub according to the CAMRA definition. Drinkers are apparently permitted to occupy stools at the bar if not eating a Tom Kerridge "pub food" meal. However, if the establishment is busy and the stools are full then drinkers may have to wait for entry (as is the case for diners).

Sporadic feature nights, including annual sea fishing and horse racing trips. Two Rebellion brews are supplemented by a guest ale, often a stout or a porter. Sunday roast lunches and wednesday fish and chip suppers are popular regular weekly attractions. Rendezvous for the "Hashers" joggers at 10am every Sunday. Premises run by the celebrity chef, Tom Kerridge's, team. The pub combines a butchers serving a wide variety of British meat with a bar offering two real ales. All sausages are burgers are produced on site. Food such as bacon baps, sausage rolls are available for you to enjoy along with your ale. Three TVs show major sporting events but are not intrusive at other times.
