A micropub opened in June 2017 in a former TV repair shop. There is a large south-facing beer garden and the pub is dog-friendly. This is the second micropub opened by former teachers Ian Martin and Steve Tabbernor, following their first pub in Stoneygate, Leicester. The real ales are served direct from the cask, and there is a wide range of other beers in bottle and can; and real ciders and perries. Quiz on the first Monday of the month, 6.30pm for 7pm. Music and comedy nights. Grub Club, Pud Club and vinyl nights.
