This pub is a treasure trove of interesting objects, many with a maritime or railway connection. There is a gallery and a garden which overlook the river. Good value food is served alongside the selection of five or six guest beers. Note the pub closes during the annual Mart, two weeks from around February 14th. There is no pub car park, but plenty of public ones close by.

The Wenn's reverted to its former name after an extensive renovation in February 2020. The remodelled interior has a number of separate rooms and there are also tables outside on the edge of Saturday Market Place. Beers are from local breweries and despite its name, the menu offers traditional pub food and does not major on chops. There is pay parking opposite and round the corner. Highly rated accommodation is available.

Cider drinkers have a choice of ciders, normally including something from local cider producer Whin Hill. The local CAMRA Branch's Cider Pub of the Year in both 2020 and 2021. Live music is sometimes played in the public bar.

The public bar of this hotel tucked away close to The Walks has featured in the Guide for around 25 years. Visitors will find a garden for summer and a real fire in the bar in winter. The annual beer festival coincides with the King's Lynn music festival. Beers are usually from larger regional producers. Note that the pub is open evenings only, unless by arrangement.
