Oaklands Hotel

Large open-plan pub/hotel adjacent to the main road between Chester and the M56. Operating under the Hungry Horse banner it is popular with local families and visitors staying in the nearby guest houses. Beers are from the Greene King range.

Bromfield Arms

43 Faulkner Street, Hoole CH2 3BD

Refurbished in May 2015 as part of the 'Golden Oak' branding, this large suburban pub now has a bright modern interior whilst retaining the striking black and white exterior. The main bar is a large room including other seating areas leading off it, whilst the rear bar is more basic - both have sports TV. Four hand pumps serve varied beers from national, regional and local breweries. Special offer on food, depending on the day of the week.

Faulkner

This red brick corner pub in Chester's most bohemian suburb has been transformed from a traditional local to a more food oriented but very popular bistro bar. The continental ambiance is further enhanced in warmer weather when the large French windows are fully opened. There are usually five cask ales on offer which tend to be national brands especially Caledonian or from larger regional brewers.

Located on the busy shopping street in Hoole about 15 minutes walk from Chester city centre. This is a great little Marston's pub serving up to 5 beers from their portfolio including Jennings, Wychwood, Ringwood etc. It has free WiFi, shows TV Sports and has a beer garden at the rear. The pub has three rooms one with a bagatelle table.
